The Los Angeles Chargers are preparing for their first season under new head coach Jim Harbaugh. There's plenty of excitement around the fan base and social media for the team.

The Chargers' 2024 schedule will officially get released at 7 P.M. CT on Wednesday, May 15th.

Ahead of their schedule release, the Chargers are going viral on social media once again.

For multiple years now, the Chargers social media account has been comparing their opponents to Pop-Tart flavors. They've made the masterpiece thread again for 2024.

Check out the Chargers' Pop-Tart comparisons below

The best comparisons

  • Arizona Cardinals - Pop-Tart bites
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Pirates of the Caribbean themed Pop-Tarts
  • Tennessee Titans - Jack Daniels Whiskey flavored Pop-Tarts

The Kyler Murray "being small" bit was a comical jab here by LA. The bites are a fun way to characterize their QB and leader of their offense.

Both the Bucs and Titans comps were spot-on. They did not take any cheap shots, but instead, they hit home in a unique way. The only improvement for Tennessee's could have been a Mayo flavor for Will Levis.

Comparisons that fell short

  • Las Vegas Raiders - Garbage flavored Pop-Tarts
  • Atlanta Falcons - Gold-chain Pop-Tart bling

The Raiders spanked the Chargers in primetime last season, 63-21, in one of their matchups. They should've avoided a "trash" joke after that embarrassing performance in 2023. LA will probably be favored in those matchups this year, but fans don't forget those horrid performances so quickly.

As for the Falcons comp, the Chargers should have found a way to incorporate the Michael Penix pick into their banter. The Kirk Cousins "bling" narrative isn't quite as funny as using a first-round pick on a backup QB just after signing a veteran to m massive contract. Should've capitalized there.

All in all, the Chargers social media did it once again. Their content remains to be some of the best around the NFL.
