Kalen DeBoer updates status on Alabama OL for the summer
Gary Cosby Jr.-USA TODAY Sports

Alabama fans got a small glimpse of transfer offensive lineman, Parker Brailsford, during spring practice.

He came from the University of Washington after helping the Huskies win a Pac-12 Championship and advance to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. The 6-foot-2, 275-pounder played 15 games for Washington as a freshman in 2023, including 13 starts at center. Crimson Tide supporters got excited when he chose to commit to Alabama out of the NCAA transfer portal.

He did not participate much in spring practice, yet it was no fault of his own. Kalen DeBoer, Alabama’s head coach, told reporters multiple times that Brailsford was working through some things but he’s still with the team. He assured the local media that Brailsford is not transferring.

In a Regions Golf event, DeBoer confirmed to everyone that Brailsford will be back with the team in June when summer school starts. He will be participating in the summer workout program before fall camp starts in August.

He proved was one of the best linemen in the Pac-12, but now Brailsford has to show his dominance in the Southeastern Conference.
